Florida Gulfshore Capital invests in promising early stage companies and small to mid-market growth opportunities. FGC looks to back talented entrepreneurs with a history of successfully building and exiting high growth companies.

An important governing principle of the firm is to take an active role in each of its portfolio companies. This role could take the form of anything from a board seat to a full time position on the management team for a period of time. FGC is usually the first institutional investor in a venture.

The firm has a focus on industrial products, healthcare and web-based content but has a flexible investment mandate and will consider ventures across a wide variety of industries. FGC invests in development rather than discovery and concentrates its investments in companies that are close to, or in the early stages of, revenue generation.
